An under 15s girls’ team at Bingham Town FC are celebrating after a local opticians has stepped in to sponsor them for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
Specsavers on Eaton Place in Bingham are supporting the team, who play in the Nottinghamshire Girls and Ladies League, with new, much needed home and away kit.
After riding high in Division 2, the girls secured a top two finish for their U14 season. They are part of the ever-growing girls’ section of Bingham Town FC which currently makes up 25% of all players at the club, the highest percentage in Nottinghamshire for a club providing both male and female football.

‘It was fantastic to go down and watch the team win a home match and see them extend their winning streak. It was great to see the new kit getting its first outing, too. We can’t wait to see the progress the girls make next season.’
