A belly full of laughs and some nostalgic memories are all in store when this local award winning drama group perform their latest production of Leakey Towers.
Join the Rude, Arrogant and somewhat Impatient Basil (Steve Fordyce, pictured) run his perfect hotel by the sea…badly! Constantly frustrated by his dim, disorganised and confused waiter Manuel (Richard Hesk). It’s really Sybil (Gill Bowness, pictured) and Polly (Nichola Doherty) that keep the hotel organised and running smoothly.
There is a hotel full of guests waiting in the wings from the Deaf Mrs Richards (Deb Flinders), the old and sweet little Miss Tibbs (Annette McQuillan) and the crazy lady (Eleanor Bowness) with the dog, yes, we are introducing a real live dog on stage (what can go wrong)? Well lots and that is what will make a full on evening of entertainment.
Running from 8th to 10th June at East Leake Village Hall, doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. There is a licensed bar too. Tickets are available from wonderful Mel at The Greengrocer (East Leake Box Office) or you can buy online at www.ticketsource.co.uk search ‘Leakey Towers’. Tickets are priced at £8.00.
Thank you to everyone who has helped support this production to make it happen, it’s a big Elaps family and we all make it happen.
