Nottingham Triathlon Club, hosting their first ever Swim Bike Run Mini, Nottingham Triathlon Club delivered a brilliant afternoon of grassroots sport on Saturday 18th October at Harvey Hadden Sports Village.
The event was part of British Triathlon’s Swim Bike Run Mini Pilot Series and welcomed 52 finishers from 58 sign-ups, including five athletes who completed their very first triathlon — all of whom had previously taken part in a Swim Bike Run Local session. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the supportive atmosphere from the volunteers and fun racing environment.
The event brought together a wonderful mix of novices and more experienced triathletes, creating a buzzing community feel. Participants completed a pool swim, followed by a ride on the closed, traffic-free cycle circuit and a run on the athletics track. Highlighting Harvey Hadden Sports Village fantastic multi-sport facilities.
