The 17th Nottingham Boys’ Brigade and 30th Nottingham Girls’ Brigade are proudly presenting their 72nd annual Pantomime, ‘Robin Hood and Babes in the Woods’ on January Thursday 26th, Friday 27th and Saturday 28th.
Rehearsals are under way for our fun-for-all pantomime, which has been written by Ben Crocker and this year the show is being directed by Graham Bostock who is supported by the staff and parents of the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade.
The pantomime will see Robin Hood against his traditional foe, The Sherriff of Nottingham (the pantomime baddy). We have the Outlaws including Friar Tuck, Dame Winnie Widebottom played by Tom Jowett (definitely no type casting), as well as a Maid Marion and her love interest in Robin, and not forgetting children (the babes) in the wood.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade have been putting on pantomimes since 1950 with the first Pantomime of ’Cinderella’, and have only missed 2 years, the first due to World War II and the latest due to Covid.
Tickets are priced
£4.50 for Adults
£3.50 for Children & Concessions
£14.00 Group tickets for four viewers
The pantomime is being performed at the Pearson Centre for Young People, 2 Nuart Road Beeston, NG9 2NH.
