Joshua Partridge has again set himself the challenge of sleeping under the stars for the Great Tommy Sleepout, raising money for the RBLI and awareness for around 6,000 homeless veterans in the UK.
Joshua who is in year 7 at Colonel Frank Seely School in Calverton, has his tent pitched in his own back garden.
The official challenge is to sleep at least 1 night under the stars in the month of March. He started last year with a target of 7 nights that was smashed, ending the challenge on 56 nights and a huge £3,874. This made Joshua the challenges single highest earner and only being beaten financial by a group of Army Cadets.
Joshua jumped at the chance to sign up again this year, setting himself the challenge of beating his 56 nights and hopefully last year’s total too.
Joshua slept his first night outside on 1st February and has already done 5 nights in 2022.
