Nottingham Indoor Bowls Club is holding an open weekend on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September between 12noon and 5pm at Beechdale Road, Bilborough, Nottingham. NG8 3FH, opposite The Trinity School.
Here at Nottingham Indoor Bowls Club, you will find a warm and welcoming environment and a club that is accessible to everyone. Our club is open to all whether you are new to bowls or have years of experience. Bowls is a social game and has some of the friendliest people you could wish to meet. It is an activity that can be played by anyone of any age, including the visually impaired and wheelchair users; there are no barriers to getting involved.
The facilities of the club include a bar as well as a restaurant where you can enjoy a late breakfast or a delicious lunch.
There are many ways to be involved from casual bowling to internal leagues seven days a week, and club representative games to competition play at national level. You will find that bowls is not an expensive sport. You can be sure there is plenty on offer here.
Bowls is a great form of exercise and can provide significant physical and mental health benefits.
So why not come along and see what we have to offer. We have coaches and members who will be here to welcome you and tell you more about our fantastic club and give you the opportunity to try out the game. We are sure you will be hooked.
We have bowls equipment available for you to use. Just bring a pair of indoor flat sole shoes or slippers.
