Radcliffe on Trent Cricket Club, which has been part of its village since the late 18th century, secured league success for its under-13s team, backed by Midlands homebuilder Spitfire Homes.
The teenagers roared to success, winning the Nottingham Junior Cricket City/South A title.
A four-figure donation from Spitfire supported the expansion of the club’s youth programme, helping to make cricket more accessible to local people and creating opportunities for young players to develop and progress within the grassroots club.
The sponsorship also supported Radcliffe on Trent Cricket Club’s Kwik Cricket and Little Bash sessions, which ran weekly for primary-aged children on Friday evenings.
Spitfire Homes is currently delivering 280 premium new properties at its Sherbourne collection off Grantham Road, with a number of families already beginning to settle into their new homes.
