West Bridgford resident makes headbands for charity

23/11/2020 by Digital Media

A West Bridgford resident has been making colourful headbands where the proceeds go to charity.

During lockdown, Clara Tennant has been busy creating headbands from fabrics that were donated by local textile company, Lacy Agencies in West Bridgford.

These headbands can be purchased from her Just Giving page where 100% of the proceeds go to West Bridgford homeless shelter, the Friary.

Clara said, “I’ve really enjoyed transforming old t-shirts and clothes into colourful headband twists during lockdown. Now I want to use this hobby to raise funds for a really important cause, homelessness.”

Visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/helpingbands to choose a headband and donate or follow her on Instagram at @helpingbands_
