This month we’re talking resolutions…
Whilst it’s clear we need system change to tackle the climate crisis, a study showed that people are more willing to listen to those calling for change if they themselves are doing everything they can to reduce their own carbon footprint.
This may be why Greta Thunberg has gained so much respect; she has shown that she truly lives what she believes.
She crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a zero emissions yacht and then a pretty-much-zero emissions catamaran. Greta has highlighted that we can do amazing things when we work together to come up with solutions.
To tackle the climate crisis, we need to change our habits. We need to restore nature, build a circular economy which eliminates waste, transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy – creating new jobs in the process, practise regenerative agriculture & reduce our meat and dairy intake.
The great news is that these things are better for our physical and mental health, as well as the planet.
Let’s make 2020 the year we turn things around and embrace a more conscientious way of living. Could you take the ‘Flight Free 2020’ pledge? Could you use your car less? Can you make plant based, organic, local or ethically sourced choices while shopping? Can you cut down on single use plastic?

We don’t need a handful of people to live perfectly – we need millions of people making the changes they can to help our planet.
