Gamston Christmas Lights breaks records!

02/02/2025 by Digital Media

The Christmas Lights by Gamston resident David Carter was once again a tremendous success, beating all previous records, raising for the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre a staggering £5,400, £1,490 more than in 2023!

David said: “I would like to thank everyone for their fantastic support, I have never seen so many people, especially on Christmas Eve and at the Santas Grotto (which we did this year for the first time) more than 135 children saw Santa!

“The Raffle was also notable, for adding to the overall amount raised.

“It may seem a long way off but I am already planning for Christmas 2025! The ‘Switch On’ will be on Sunday 23 November and Santa’s Grotto will be on the two Saturdays before Christmas, on 13 and 20 December.”

New Lights have also been purchased, so the display next year will be even bigger and better!
