In the August edition of the Local News, we announced the exciting relocation of Footprints Conductive Education Centre to a new site in Clifton. The Nottingham based charity is moving to what was formerly the Highbank Community Centre and which will become the new home of Footprints Conductive Education and Community Hub.
The charity team now have the keys to the new centre and you may have noticed some activity has already started, with the team on site for the last month. The outdoor areas which had become overgrown, have started to be cleared and already the space is looking neater, brighter and much bigger!
Footprints will now spend the next couple of months transforming the space, which will provide better and more facilities for the children and families they support who all live with disabilities, and also for the local community. The new facilities the charity hopes to have include more session rooms for their charity services, a wellbeing coffee bar for families and the community, a function room and outdoor education spaces.
The charity is thrilled to have joined the incredibly welcoming Clifton Community, and would like to thank everyone they’ve met so far for their very kind words and interest in the new site. They would also like to thank the local residents for their patience and support as they start the transformation, before the full relocation of their charity services when the work is complete.
