What can a choir do to help fight Motor Neurone Disease and support those with the disease? By singing of course, and this is exactly what the Radcliffe On Trent Male Voice Choir did, raising funds at their successful sell-out 2022 Christmas Concert.
Choir Chairman John Bartle presented a cheque for £2,010 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association at their fund-raising Race Night. Speaking of his own family’s experiences with the disease, John said that his personal association went back many years, and he was delighted that the Choir was able to support the association also. In its 40th Anniversary year, performing and raising funds for such causes is still one of the core tenets of the Choir.
