On 26th February 2023 at the Royal Concert Hall, the West Bridgford Colts Atletico and Cosmos U9’s celebrated by collected their medals and trophies for winning both the YEL (Young Elizabeth League) Saturday and Sunday U9 Premier Division Winter League titles!
The voluntary coaching team of Amarpal Virdee, Anthony Papathomas, Brendan Russell and Nick Dunn were immensely proud of both teams.
Amarpal explained: “The boys have been playing together as a team since the age of 5 years old. It’s a great achievement winning the top league on both a Saturday and a Sunday!
“We are so proud of the boys who work tremendously hard week in, week out at both training and in matches.”
The team would also like to thank local sponsor, The Fitness Collective on Bridgford Road for their continued support with the Atletico team.
