Come to the Craft fair and Christmas lights switch on in East Leake!

Don’t miss these two fantastic events taking place on Saturday 27th November.

Craft Fair

From 11am – 4pm there will be a special craft fair taking place at the Village Hall. You can expect a range of stalls including, cakes, soap, jewellery, picture frames, fabric crafts, glassware, candles, jams & chutneys, paintings and more. There will also be a raffle in aid of the Pavillion Rebuild Fund.

The event is currently fully booked for stalls.

Christmas Lights Switch on

Following the craft fair, the Christmas Lights Switch on will take place from 4pm – 6pm in the Village Centre.

There will be hot food & drinks including mulled wine and spiced warm cider, Santa’s Grotto Photo opportunity sponsored by Waterfield Property Services and East Leake Hardware & DIY, a nativity by Pinfold Vets, Christmas songs sang by Brookside School Choir, hook-a-duck in aid of the Air Ambulance, live music by Charnwood Concert Band plus local East Leake shops will be opening late.

At 4:45pm Father Christmas will arrive and at 4:55pm there will be a presentation of this year’s community award. Then at 5pm, the East Leake Christmas lights will be switched on by Father Christmas who will also be available in the Grotto afterwards for photo opportunities.

On December 3 there will also be a Christmas Market from 3-8pm in the Village Centre.
