Cotgrave Country Park set to hold family fun day

13/07/2021 by Digital Media

Cotgrave Country Park will host a special fun day this August!

The first Fun Day event in Cotgrave Country Park is taking place on August 22nd from 11.00am to 3.00pm.

The event is kindly supported by The Co-op Community Fund. Entry to the event is free.

Our Country parks have been well needed and welcome resources during the pandemic. Interest in nature for all its benefits to ourselves and our planet has increased enormously, and this day should bring fun and information based around nature.

The event aims to involve all ages in diverse activities such as clay modelling, making nature crowns and bird feeders and orienteering and face painting.

Most children’s activities will be free. There will be various nature related stalls and information including South Notts Wildlife Trust and Bee keeping.

To help keep up energy levels light refreshments will be available (plus toilets). Free parking will be on our Hollygate Lane car park, and additional parking will also be found on part of the nearby industrial estate (thanks to Polygraphics).

Come and have fun for with friends and family in our lovely green park!

For further details or updates on the park, please find the Friends of Cotgrave Country Park on Facebook.
