Next Open Gardens event: 27th/28th JUNE 2020, SATURDAY and/or SUNDAY
Our two nominated charities are Cotgrave Advice Centre (CAC) and Tara’s Angels.
Tara’s Angels support vulnerable women and children who are Domestic Abuse victims and who live in refuges across Nottinghamshire. It was established in 2016 by the family of Tara Newbold, who lost her life as a victim of Domestic Abuse. The monies from Cotgrave Open Gardens will help the charity with their work in providing essential items such as food, toiletries, nappies, clothing and gifts for children and days out etc.

Cotgrave Advice Centre has a team of volunteer general advisers and specialists in debt, employment, benefits, income tax and law, who provide free advice to people in Cotgrave and the Vale of Belvoir, as well as the whole of Rushcliffe and beyond. It is supported by qualified solicitors and strict confidentiality is ensured. Local authority grants have been reduced so help is needed to maintain equipment, such as their photocopier. https://cotgraveadvicecentre.org.uk/
