Do you have concerns about the area you live in?
At the start of July, we were lucky to meet our local Police Community Support Officer, Chris, to discuss how we can strengthen the connection between the police and our community here in Calverton and surrounding Villages. We both decided it would be great to give our residents a voice and offer a regular ‘Beat Surgery’ here in Calverton.
Come and meet your local police team at our upcoming Community Beat Surgery at the Core Centre Charity, Calverton. This is your chance to raise any concerns, ask questions, or simply have a chat with officers about what matters to you in the local area.
We can assure you that Chris is very approachable and even has a sense of humour! Top tip – if you want to get on his good side, bring him some bourbon biscuits, they’re apparently his favourite!
Whether it’s issues around antisocial behaviour, safety, speeding, or anything else – we want to hear from you!
Where: The Core Centre, based at The working Mens Club, Collyer Road, Calverton, NG14 6JX
When: Wednesday 30th July 1pm to 3pm and Wednesday 12th November 1pm to 3pm.
With: PCSO Chris and your local neighbourhood policing team
These sessions will become a regular opportunity for local residents to stay connected with the people who help keep our villages safe.
Pop in for a friendly chat and have your say — everyone is welcome!
Any enquiries please call us on 0115 8470551 or come and see us (Sam, Becky and Jane) at the Core.
