We have two local Sporting Memories clubs for people over the age of 50 who enjoy reminiscing about their experiences of watching or playing sport.
The club take place each week and are a friendly, welcoming environment for people who want to talk sport and meet new people. The session includes quizzes, games, lots of talk about sport and refreshments. All sessions are free to attend.
Cath and Glyn come along to our Beeston Club and enjoy the weekly chat, where Glyn talks about his love of running and the many 10ks, half marathons and marathons he has ran competitively for many years with Cath and their daughter watching. Glyn loved bringing in his Robin Hood half marathon framed lace pictures and medals to share his memories with everyone.
