Collection success for the Fire Fighters Charity

On Sunday 21 December 2025, a street collection was organised and hosted by local Firefighter Arron Enever to assist The Fire Fighters Charity who exist to support the mental, physical and social needs of all serving and retired members of the UK’s fire family. 

Arron, who is based at the London Road station in Nottingham managed the event, where a 1939 Leyland Wheeled Escape fire engine was supplied by Bygone Fire Engines. This was used around Birmingham during the Second World War.  

A huge thank you to all the supporters where £1,334.06 was raised.
