Clifton Arts Festival – get involved!

08/07/2025 by Digital Media

Clifton is one of the areas of Nottingham (along with Bulwell and Bilborough) that was included in a successful bid to the Arts Council to host 3 years of arts festivals in the community.

We are very much at the early planning stages, but hope to have workshops and activities leading up to an event in October. Arts festivals celebrate art of all forms in the community, from poetry to music, exhibitions of local work and opportunities to try your hand at something. Sometimes they host plays, events have involved carnival troupes and schools have opened up to show the range of students’ work – it can be whatever creative pursuits people want to get involved in, but it needs input from residents to make it happen.

If this sounds like something you may be interested in being involved in, please get in touch – if you are an artist, dancer, poet, musician, or simply want to get involved and try things out, you would be very welcome.

Please get in touch with me via [email protected] or call 07940 761077 to find out more.
