Christmas in the Community Joy at The Pearson Centre

21/11/2025 by Digital Media

The annual Christmas Fair at the Pearson Centre for Young People is back and better than ever this year!

We are excited to be joined by the wonderfully talented Beeston Voices choir, who will be entertaining us through the afternoon. Local crafters will be bringing their wares for you to get those gifts sorted and when you’re all shopped out grab a festive treat from our café.

Local companies such as ARC Cinema, Pudding Pantry and Boots have kindly donated towards our raffle and there’s also going to be free children’s crafts and a baby sensory area on offer for our younger visitors. There might even by a visit from the man in red!

We will also have our “Pantomime – Past and Present” display on, celebrating the rich history of performing in the Centre ahead of the 75th pantomime this January, so visitors can reminisce and see if they can spot anyone they know in the numerous cast photos and press cuttings.

The event will be on from 1.30 until 4.30pm on Saturday 6th December at The Pearson Centre, which is in the heart of Beeston between the Commercial Inn and the library.
