The Summer Christmas Carnival, celebrates the launch of Christmas at Wollaton 2023 and offers visitors the chance to meet the team and enjoy some summer festive fun at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, on Saturday 8th July, from 10am to 3pm.
This one-of-a-kind free event promises a day filled with joy, entertainment, and memorable experiences, marking a significant milestone in Nottingham’s festive countdown.
Wollaton’s Summer Christmas Carnival is Nottingham’s first-ever event of its kind, designed to bring the community together in celebration of the holiday season and talk directly to team behind the light trail including Creative Director Katherine Jewkes.
The event will feature a School Choir Competition, open to all Primary schools across Nottingham, with the winners performing on the opening night of Christmas at Wollaton on Friday 1st December at 5.30pm. The winning school will also receive 100 free tickets for opening night, on Friday 1st December worth £1500! If your school is interested in entering, please email [email protected].
There will also be a range of exciting activities for families including a giant snow globe, a steel band, themed games, and a very special guest in a rare, off-season sighting! Already established as a firm favourite in the festive calendar, Christmas at Wollaton has become much-loved Christmas tradition for many in the East Midlands.
After three hugely successful years, the Christmas at Wollaton team has decided to revamp the event, taking on board visitor feedback, and has hired Creative Director, Katherine Jewkes who brings over 15 years of experience to the team.
The Christmas at Wollaton event organisers will work alongside the expert team at YES Events, which has over 40 years of experience creating spectacular events around the world, to create an exciting new look for 2023, where they will reimagine the unique grounds of Wollaton Hall, and introduce fresh and captivating light and sound installations to wow visitors.
