Christmas at Lowdham Signal Box

06/12/2021 by Digital Media

Locals are invited to come visit the Lowdham Signal box as a family treat just after Christmas.

So, you are wondering what to do just after Christmas, and want to get a break from all the family and food? Come and see what it was like to be a signal man in a country station.

We are opening the signal box on the two bank holidays, 27th and 28th December in the afternoon and early evening. Timings to be confirmed, but expect 2pm-5pm. We may extend the times if there is a lot of demand.

The atmosphere is very different in the dark, and we will be offering our visitors some mulled wine and a mince pie.

As usual, please book in so we know how many to expect at www.eventbrite.com and search for ‘Lowdham’. You can find information and photos of our restoration progress on Facebook – search for lowdhamsignalbox.
