On Saturday 23rd April, Bingham Bowling Club began celebrations for their Centenary year where they were joined by MP Robert Jenrick as well as Town Mayor Andrew Shelton and Mr Jonathan Hammond of Hammond Property Services.
Although a little windy, the weather was great for an April afternoon.
Club Chairman, Keith Hackett gave a welcome speech and talk about the clubs’ history and Club President Kath Paterson also spoke.
All three guests were also given the chance to ‘try their hand’ at bowls and MP Robert Jenrick can be seen on the green in the photograph below.
The club provided an excellent buffet, which was enjoyed and appreciated by everyone.
All in all it was a most memorable social occasion to mark such an achievement in the history of the club.
