Calverton Village Farmers’ Market was established in October 2019 when a collective of local small businesses came together every Saturday in the village pub car park, The Gleaners Inn, to sell their handmade or home-produced food products and crafts to local customers.
Whatever the weather, stall holders flock from across the village and across the county to set up shop from 8am until 1pm every weekend. Regular stalls include Spring Lane Farm Shop from Lambley selling fresh fruit and vegetables and home-baked bread, Bowering Butchers from Mansfield selling home-reared fresh meat, Bakes and Cakes established in Calverton Village selling home-made cakes, scones and other sweet treats….and many more local small businesses!
The community set-up market is on every Saturday except the third weekend of the month. The market is always looking to welcome new local stall holders, so if you’re looking to sell your local food products or homemade crafts to the public, do get in touch via their Facebook page!
