Calverton needs planting bulbs

22/10/2021 by Digital Media

To compliment the new village signage and planters in Calverton, we are looking to plant spring bulbs in and around the planters to brighten up the village entrances.

If you have any spare spring bulbs you are willing to donate, please put them into the collecting bins outside the Co-op on Flatts Lane and Sainsbury’s in St Wilfrid’s Square this coming Saturday 23rd October between 2.00pm and 3.30pm.

These will then be sorted and hopefully (weather permitting) the following weekend we will host a community planting day.

If you would like to be involved in the bulb planting next weekend (30/31) please register your interest and preferred planting location (if you have one) with cllr Lorraine Brown email [email protected]   Thank You!
