Bunny C of E Primary School celebrates outstanding SATs success

24/03/2026 by Digital Media

There’s been lots to celebrate at Bunny C of E Primary School this year, and we’re bursting with pride! Our children have achieved some truly incredible SATs results, with 100% of pupils reaching the expected standard — an amazing achievement that has seen us ranked as the top primary school in Nottinghamshire.

This success hasn’t happened overnight. Bunny C of E has been placed in the top three schools in the county for the last 3 years, reflecting the consistent hard work, dedication and care shown by both our fantastic staff, Governors and our wonderful children. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together.

But life at Bunny C of E Primary School is about so much more than test results. We work hard to make sure our children enjoy a wide range of opportunities, helping them grow in confidence, teamwork and resilience. One recent highlight was our brilliant performance in the Nottinghamshire Primary School Dodgeball Championships, where we were thrilled to finish as runners-up — what an achievement!

We’re also busy developing the wider values that matter so much to us as a school. We are currently working towards the Wellbeing Award for Schools, continuing our focus on children and staff’s mental health and happiness. Alongside this, we have been awarded the Bronze Global Neighbours accreditation, supporting our work around courageous advocacy and helping children understand how they can make a positive difference to others, both near and far.

We may be a small village school, but we really do have a big heart. Our close-knit community, strong values and nurturing environment make Bunny C of E Primary School a very special place to learn.

There are still places available in some year groups, as well as spaces in our school nursery. We would love to welcome new families — so please do come along and visit us in action to see what Bunny C of E Primary School is all about! Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment on 0115 92122727
