20/12/2019 by Digital Media

Out of Nottinghamshire schools they rank 13th in reading, 9th in writing and 2nd in maths for progress!

Beeston Fields Primary & Nursery School have shown a rapid rise in the performance league tables for progress, ranking 13th overall for reading, 9th in writing and 2nd in Mathematics.

This is the highest position the school has achieved in its recent history and shows a rapid rise in their impact in the past 3 years, achieving a positive change in the progress of its pupils.

Claire Lindsay is Head Teacher at Beeston Fields Primary & Nursery School. She said that the results are an acknowledgement of the commitment the school has shown to improving progress and outcomes for children. “This is a fantastic achievement and reflects all of the hard work staff have put in to improve opportunities for the children at Beeston Fields.  I am so, so proud of everything the pupils have achieved.”

Claire said that this result demonstrates to families the commitment the school shows to its pupils. “This league table is a clear indication of the progress children make during their time with us at Beeston Fields. The staff and children, the supportive families, governors, The Flying High Trust and the wider community have played such an important role in this result.

“The staff have been unanimous in creating the strong Beeston Fields Family ethos and providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities for all our children.

“We won’t stop working hard for our children and families.  We still have lots of exciting things in our future, but it’s lovely to celebrate with everyone our success.”
