Are you in need of a food parcel?

22/01/2021 by Digital Media

We’ve all come to know the realities of needing a little help especially during the Covid-19 lockdown. If you are in need of a food parcel, then please get in touch with the Phoenix Community Foundation. Here’s what they said:

“We are happy to say that we have our food bank up and running, we’re ready to help all those families that need us through these hard times. We have great delivery drivers who are Covid safe whilst bringing your food parcels to your doors every Thursday.

“If you are in need of a food parcel, please do not hesitate to call or drop a message with an address and how many people are in your household to 07922 278314.

“We are catering for people of Beeston, Chilwell, Bramcote, Toton, Stapleford, Wollaton and Long Eaton.”

The Foundation are now aiming to raise £1,000 to support their foodbank, if you would like to lend a helping hand by donating to this wonderful cause, please visit: www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/richard-ward-2?utm_term=Jaj5vy7W6

The Phoenix Community Foundation is located at Inham Recreation Ground in Chilwell. The food bank is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm – 6pm and Fridays 9am-12pm.

The Phoenix Community Foundation food bank was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic to support vulnerable families to put food on the table, during the current lockdown and beyond.
