On 23rd July, the West Bridgford RNLI and the West Bridgford Youth Link, who provide a range of support and services for young people with disabilities, teamed up to run a fantastic Coffee and Cake morning at the Youth Centre on Central Avenue.
A wide selection of delicious cakes and treats, baked by RNLI volunteers and the young people from the Youth Link, were served with drinks in the Youth Centre.
A range of pre-loved items were available for sale and the RNLI mascot, Stormy Stan, also made an appearance collecting donations on Central Avenue.
In total, a fantastic £695 was raised on the day for the RNLI, who continue to do vital work all-year-round.
It was great to see so many members of our local community again – thank you so much for the continued support.
A special thank you to all at the West Bridgford Youth Link and Youth Centre team, and as always, the dedicated RNLI volunteers!
