A sweet return to East Leake Carnival

16/05/2022 by Digital Media

After an absence of two years due to Covid, plans are well under way for the return of our popular East Leake Carnival, to be held on 25th June.  This event is one of the highlights of our village year, with a host of stalls and live events carrying on into the evening.

East Leake Traders are once again running a tombola, this year with £250 of sweets up for grabs.  All of our traders have donated sweets and the stall will be manned by trader volunteers.  As usual, we are expecting it to be a busy and popular stall with children and adults alike.

This is just one of the ways that we raise funds to put back into our community, allowing us to support village amenities and paying for such events as the Christmas Lights Switch On, Annual Bear Hunt and other activities.

Make sure you put 25th June in your diary so you don’t miss this event – and don’t forget to have a go on our tombola!  Excitement is building, and we can’t wait to see you.
