Nottingham Local News have been informed that the new occupant of the former Gusto restaurant on Bridgford Road is believed to be a restaurant chain called “Giggling Squid”.
The Giggling Squid’s quirky Thai food restaurants specialise in lunchtime tapas, cocktails and original dishes in the evenings.
The Thai restaurant began in 2002, when the owners coined the idea whilst they sat in the basement of their Brighton home, which later became their first Giggling Squid restaurant. Their idea was to cook simple, rustic and fresh Thai food.
The chain has been doing surprisingly well during the coronavirus lockdowns due to their popular food delivery service.
The new restaurant is expected to open sometime this year. Stay tuned to find out the West Bridgford Giggling Squid official opening date plus further details!
