A Community Effort Worth Celebrating

09/01/2026 by Digital Media

We are incredibly proud to share that the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Community Hub was recognised as one of the top three finalists in the Health and Wellbeing category at the Rushcliffe Community Awards. This recognition means so much, as it reflects the voices and experiences of the people who attend, support and shape the Hub. A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who took the time to vote and share their stories — this achievement truly belongs to the community.

Over the past year, the Hub has grown into a welcoming space where people can connect, try new things and focus on their wellbeing in ways that feel manageable and supportive. From creative activities to movement, conversation and calm, it has been a joy to see friendships form and confidence grow week by week.

We’re now really looking forward to welcoming everyone back from 12th January, with an exciting programme of sessions shaped by feedback from those who attend. These include Pilates, one of the most requested additions, alongside a friendly book club, swings golf simulation for something a little different, and more Saturday sessions to make the Hub accessible to those who can’t attend during the week. We’re also delighted to be introducing Playhouse visits, opening up opportunities to enjoy culture and creativity together.

Whether you’re returning or thinking about coming along for the first time, you’ll be met with a warm welcome and a supportive environment. We can’t wait to start the new year together and build on everything achieved so far.
