Micheal Measham, a Resident at HC One’s Willow Brook care home, has entered the annual home garden competition.
Micheal, who is known as the Resident gardener at the Nottingham care home, has entered HC One’s annual garden competition for his beautiful Dalia and colourful basket.
Every year HC One has a gardening competition, with a number of different categories in which the home can put themselves forward to compete for first place.
Micheal won the highly commended ‘green fingers award’ last year, and also came 4th in the local Gedling council gardening competition too – so he is hoping he will be coming out on top this year!
It is great to be able to recognise Micheal’s talents as a gardener and it encourages him to keep going with a hobby that he loves.
The garden at the home always looks bright and colourful thanks to Micheal, the home manager commented “I buy the seeds and Micheal just does his magic!”
