With the current rise in Coronavirus cases across the county, a number of mobile testing units (MTUs) have been located across the area to improve testing facilities.
If you think you may have symptoms such as a high temperature, a change to your sense of smell or taste or a new continuous cough you should book to visit one of these following sites, or get tested as soon as possible.
Residents can book in for a test at one of the mobile testing sites, a drive-in site or a walk-in centre by calling the NHS on 119, or by visiting the NHS online portal.
The MTU’s can be found here:
Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 1st October – Beeston
Wednesday 30th, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October – East Leake (Rushcliffe)
Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October – Kirkby in Ashfield
Booking a test before attending is essential. You will be informed of the location of your test one you have gone thought the booking process.
There is also a fixed testing drive-through site at the Motorpoint Arena car park, located behind the BBC building in Nottingham.
Locations are drive-through only so you either need to drive or be driven to a site.
The test can be completed by yourself or by a tester with a swab of the nose and the back of the throat. The results of the test will be sent via text or email within 72 hours. If your test is positive, you must self-isolate immediately.
The locations for the MTUs are subject to change dependant on local outbreaks. All MTUs will be updated on the CCG website on a regular basis.
