Budapest returns to Beeston this Autumn and winter in the form of a ruin bar at local events venue, The Garage.

The Ruin Bar is a unique and off beat themed indie bar found in ex-Barton bus garages in Beeston. Expect to find bicycles dangling from the ceiling, private booths made from 1930s cinema seats and old pallets, vintage cars and old bus parts, all a bohemian industrial setting.
The event, which takes place in the sprawling warehouse at The Garage, will feature tantalising, award winning street food in addition to an ever-strong line-up of local ale, craft and lager. And the huge indoor and outdoor spaces offer plenty in the way of social distancing.
Held twice already, the pop-up event has been a huge success, with organiser James Barton explaining,
“We’d been forced to rethink our entire calendar of events this year once the lockdown was brought in.
The Ruin Bar idea came from one of our regulars, who mentioned something while attending our ale takeaway in June, which we thought sounded like a perfect fit for The Garage.
We’ve had loads of support for just being open, with hundreds of visitors attending the previous two nights.
We’re really looking forward to carrying on for the rest of the year.”
