A popular West Bridgford restaurant is hosting a social distanced quiz night at the end of September to raise money for charity.

The Portello Lounge located on West Bridgford’s beloved Central Avenue has organised the special night to include a quiz at £2 per entry, plus a raffle.
The prizes for the night have been kindly donated by local businesses, so there are some great surprises to be won! All proceeds from the night will be going to The Tomorrow Project, a Nottingham charity dedicated to supporting those affected by suicide.
General Manager of Portello Lounge, Bobby said: “The tomorrow project is a charity that provides support for those affected by suicide, which is an issue really close to us here at Portello.“
“We understand that in these troubling times with COVID-19 many people are exceptionally conscious about visiting venues and we were super limited about what fundraising events we could run successfully.
“We chose a socially distanced quiz which will be ran on the player’s phones to raise money for this amazing charity, we’re hoping as many people as possible will come along to this fantastic opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile charity.”
The event will take place on Monday 28th September and will run from 8pm – 9:30pm.
The Portello Lounge is located at 3 Central Ave, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5GQ
