Since we moved to our spacious workshop at Rushcliffe School last year, West Bridgford Woodcraft still have space for more members.
Our WBW woodcraft group meets from 6:30pm to 9pm every Thursday evening.
We tackle anything from restoring old furniture to turning chess pieces and little Christmas trees on a lathe, or making birds nest boxes.
In fact, anything we can do with wood. It is great fun and very therapeutic.
A professional tutor is there to help and guide us, whether we are complete beginners or old hands, and it is amazing to see a box of pieces of wood being lovingly reconstructed into an elegant old upholstered chair, or new cane seating.
If this sounds good to you please email Westbridgfordwooodcraft@outlook.com and we will tell you more about the group.
