Nottingham’s tram network and local bus company trentbarton have teamed up with Beeston businesses to offer savings for local residents and visitors to the town.
The “I Love Beeston” MANGO card launched on Monday, April 25 and will offer discounts and special promotions for a host of shops and businesses in the town, whilst also providing the usual MANGO fare discounts on bus and tram travel.
Jamie Swift, NET’s Head of Marketing, explained: “Our new line has made travel to and from Beeston more convenient than ever, and we wanted to encourage even more people to get on the tram and find out what the town has to offer.
“Cardholders will not only be able to save on travel, but will also receive a host of discounts and special offers when presenting their “I Love Beeston” MANGO card at a wide variety of businesses.”
The special Beeston MANGO Cards will be available to buy from ticket machines at Toton Lane, Eskdale Drive, Cator Lane, High Road Central College, Chilwell Road, Beeston Town Centre and Middle Street.
Jordan Kemp, Marketing and Communications Manager at trentbarton added: “We’re really excited to be extending our MANGO family. The “I Love Beeston MANGO” opens up exclusive Beeston business offers to MANGO users and gives local Beeston folks access to discounted bus and tram travel.”
The new MANGO Card is set to replace the previously available “I Love Beeston” loyalty card. All current cardholders will be informed of how to transfer their card in the coming weeks.
