Russell Scanlan are inviting local businesses to join their pop-up shop event on Sunday 3rd June from 10am until 1pm. All stall hire proceeds from the event will be donated to Forget-Me-Notts children’s charity, a project of Operation Orphan, providing help to local underprivileged children.
Rebecca Hale, from Russell Scanlan, said: “There are so many great shops and small businesses in Nottinghamshire. This is a great opportunity to bring the community together and raise the profile of shopping local. Smaller businesses offer a very personal buying experience, with more unique products and locally-sourced produce. By shopping locally, it in turn improves the local economy.
“This event will give visitors the opportunity to meet the person behind the product and give traders the chance to promote their businesses whilst making a day’s trade. Great shopping is just on people’s doorstep.”
Taking place on Sunday 3rd June from 10am until 1pm, the event is sponsored by Russell Scanlan. There is a small stand hire charge of £20 for traders.
Some local businesses have signed up already but stalls are limited, so if you are interested in reserving a stand at the event, please contact Rebecca Hale via email at email@example.com no later than Tuesday 1st May for a booking form.
