Samantha Simkins has been appointed as a sales negotiator at Royston & Lund to boost the busy leading property sales team based in West Bridgford.
Sam gained two valuable years of experience at Bairstow Eves in the city centre before spreading her wings and joining Royston & Lund.
Her caring attitude and commitment is a reflection of her earlier career as a home care manager for independent living complexes.
It was a demanding role managing all staff and care for residents across three care homes, liaising with social services and other related key services.
Sam, 26, said: “I loved home care work and especially looking after elderly people who are so interesting and I still enjoy helping on a voluntary basis whenever I can.
“Having taken a new direction in recent years, I love estate agency work and the personal commitment to helping people move as smoothly as possible.
“It has been really refreshing to see how differently agencies can work, especially between a corporate brand and an independent local agency.
“I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to join such a well-qualified and respected team who work really well together. It’s a pleasure to come to work.”
Val Shakespeare, director and head of property sales at Royston and Lund, said: “Sam is very much a people person with an enthusiastic caring attitude, a sunny disposition and a strong work ethic.
“She has an eye for detail and goes above and beyond to help whenever she can.
“She had already built up a reputation for efficiency and customer care in her previous position and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to add her to our team in West Bridgford, where I am sure she will quickly become a real asset to our business.”
