FHP and Savills have been instructed to market the Rushcliffe Civic Centre on the banks of the River Trent by Rushcliffe Borough Council with Savills, who have used the iconic building as their Headquarters since April 1981, as they prepare to relocate to new headquarters adjacent to the Rushcliffe Arena.
Overlooking the river on the corner of Trent Bridge, the part income producing 10 storey building spans over 75,000ft² and is expected to receive a lot of interest, being just minutes from the centre of Nottingham’s thriving suburb of West Bridgford, and the well-connected inner ring road.
David Hargreaves of FHP said: “The Rushcliffe Civic Centre sits in a fantastic location overlooking the River Trent, adjacent to the Nottingham Forest Stadium, close to Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and within walking distance of all the facilities of West Bridgford.”
Originally built as a hotel, Phil Daniels of FHP said: “It has great potential subject to planning, to provide apartments, hotel, office, additional bar and restaurant units, accommodation for the over 55’s or even student accommodation.”
Victor Ktori of Savills said: “The 10 storey building provides 76,766ft² of accommodation and will be offered with part vacant possession and part tenanted, delivering a rent of £181,098 per annum, providing an excellent re-positioning opportunity.”
