FHP Living has been announced as West Bridgford RFC’s official sponsor.
The club, originally founded in 1939, practices at the Stamford Road Memorial Ground – just five minutes from FHP Living’s Bridgford Road office.
Ian Marriott, associate director at FHP Living, said: “It seemed a perfect fit to sponsor West Bridgford Rugby Club.
“The ground is in very close proximity, so it’s great that we’re able to support a local club where we can actually see the difference it’s making in the community.
“West Bridgford is a hugely successful club and we are delighted to be able to put our weight behind them this season.
“I’ve been a keen supporter of the club for many years and have become heavily involved, now playing for the veterans’ team, so I know the fantastic work they do in the area.
“The club won a national award last season voted for by the RFU and is keen to encourage young people to get involved with the sport and see the fantastic benefits it brings.
“It runs teams from under-six to under-18s in the junior section and four senior teams, as well as their highly successful ladies team who play in the Championship league.”
FHP Living also sponsors the city’s only professional rugby union side, Nottingham Rugby, which is located at Lady Bay.
