Established independent estate agents Royston & Lund have been awarded five top awards at a recent industry ceremony in London – the best result in the company’s 24-year history.
The company, which now has an office in Keyworth to go with its long-standing West Bridgford office, was awarded Best Estate Agent in the UK at the ESTAS at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Royston & Lund left the prestigious industry event with five top awards, also picking up gold for the East Midlands in the Sales and Lettings categories – voted for by clients for their high level of customer service – with silver for Lettings Services as voted for by landlords.
The agency also claimed the top spot for the Best Guild Agent for Property Professionals.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have won so many awards this year,” said Gary Lund, director at Royston & Lund.
“We’ve achieved gold awards for the East Midlands area previously but this is by far our most successful year to date – winning Best Estate Agent Office in the UK.”
The 15th annual awards were hosted by television property expert Phil Spencer and the shortlists and winners are decided by customers.
The awards are shortlisted regionally and nationally, with only the elite beating competition from across the UK.
Gary Lund added: “I’m particularly proud to have taken two national awards back with us to Nottingham.
“There are more than 800 offices for the Guild to choose from and to have been named the Best Agent against such stiff competition is really fantastic.
“The awards are customer-led, which really shows that we’re doing the right thing.
“Our customers’ feedback is the clearest indication of how well we’re doing as a business and how we value our service as a top priority.
“We have an incredibly experienced team at our two offices who really understand the local market, what is required to successfully market and sell a home and provide a high level of customer service.
“People still want to come into our branches, chat to our staff and really understand the process they’re about to undertake.
“We’re a forward-thinking agency but we understand the importance of customer service and making sure that a customer understands the process of buying and selling a home so there are no hidden surprises along the way.”
