Residents of Davies Road in West Bridgford have expressed their concern at the “continued abuse” of the TSB car park.
The car park is situated to the rear of the premises, which is located on the corner of Davies Road and Gordon Road.
A unnamed local resident said: “The TSB car parking, as a car park for TSB users and staff only, has long been abused.
“The daily road rage of people who feel they have a right to park there, with no respect for those who live on the road, is only worsened at weekends by those who pay no attention to the large sign saying that it is a private car park.
“Recently, despite cordoning off with two cones and warning tape, as well as two notices for essential works on the Sunday and Monday, two cars decided to ignore this, move the cones and park there.
“These selfish people have no idea the effort it took to arrange this with TSB for the essential works to assist residents.
“Or is it that you simply can’t read a simple request not to park in a private car park?”
A TSB spokesperson said: “The car park in West Bridgford is for use for customers of TSB.”
