Radcliffe-on-Trent is twinned with Bussy St Georges which is 15 miles east of Paris and a five-minute drive from Disneyland Paris.
The twinning association was formed in 1999 and since then has made regular visits to Bussy and welcomed visitors to Radcliffe.
Bussy is a vibrant town with a young population and many Radcliffe twinning members have made friendships with Bussy residents which have lasted for many years.
Alan Reedsaid: “Links have been formed with clubs and schools and we are always keen for exchanges to take place between people and associations from both towns.
“We hosted an action-packed visit from our partner town of Bussy St George in October 2017.
“Old friendships were renewed and new ones developed as some 30 visitors ranging from five to 55+ enjoyed the many varied delights of Radcliffe and beyond.
“On Sunday 15th July, we are planning a Boules match against our arch rivals of Southwell twinning association followed by buffet lunch at the Grange.
“On Friday 2nd November, you will need to get your thinking caps on for a meal and quiz evening at Ashmores.”
The association is open to everyone and we always welcome new members.
