A group of 15 people from the Radcliffe Twinning Association travelled to our twin town of Bussy St Georges over the weekend of 14th April.
Alan Reed, publicity manager for the Radcliffe Twinning Association, said: “We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and treated to an opening reception at the multimedia library.
“This included wine and local cheese Brie de Meaux served by the brotherhood of the producers.
“On the Friday we visited the Chateau de Fontainebleau and later had an evening reception with excellent food, entertainment and dancing.
“The next day we had a very interesting tour of the mosque and Buddhist temple, which included a meditation and a visit to their teaching areas.
“The afternoon saw us competing against the French in a very hard-fought game of boules.
“The final day was spent with our host families before our return journey.
“Everybody thought that the visit was a great success and many thanks go to our hosts at Bussy.”
