Radcliffe resident to run 300 miles for mental health charity

04/03/2019 by Digital Media

Radcliffe-on-Trent

A Radcliffe-on-Trent resident is to run 10 miles a day this month to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind.

Richard Mills, who is a personal trainer and works out of the Radcliffe Chiropractic Clinic where his wife Naomi is the owner, plans to run 300 miles in 30 days.

He told the Rushcliffe Local News: “I helped out last Christmas in a charity drive we did at Radcliffe Chiropractic Clinic to collect sleeping bags for Emmanuel House in Nottingham and saw how pleased they were with what we had managed to collect for them.

“That started me thinking to do something and decided that a series of runs for Mind would be a good thing to do.

“I think most people will know of either a friend or have a family member who has suffered from some kind of mental health issues.

“For me, running has been a brilliant way to clear my head and always leaves me in a good mood.”

You can help Richard with sponsorship by going to the Just Giving website and searching for Richard Mills.
