Farnborough Road, between Holy Trinity and Clifton Pastures, re-opens from Monday 6th October, which means Nottingham City Transport (NCT) can return Navy Line 48 to the southern part of Clifton.
From the same date, they have to change the Local Link L53 route because the exit from Summerwood Lane and Pastures Avenue onto Farnborough Road will be closed.
Navy Line 48 and Local Link L53 to Clifton will follow the same one-way loop around Clifton. More details and a route map can be found here on the NCT website.
Buses will depart Clifton Cornerstone and then turn left Green Lane to The Fairham, right along the full length of Farnborough Road to Clifton Pastures, right Clifton Lane (for Lark Hill Village) turning left into Nobel Road.
Buses from Nobel Road will continue along the full length of Nobel Road, left Clifton Lane through Crusader roundabout, continuing Clifton Lane and turning right Green Lane to resume normal route from Southchurch Drive Shops.
Buses from Holy Trinity will start at approx. 05:55 on Mondays to Saturdays and 06:55 on Sundays.
NCT will be updating the timetable to reflect this new diversion route and making some changes to improve peak-time reliability soon. In the meantime, NCT recommend customers use the Holy Trinity times on the City to Clifton timetable here.
