West Bridgford resident Becky Goddard-Hill has published a new book aimed at helping children aged seven to 11 “learn strategies to boost their happiness levels”.
Becky has teamed up with former Bridgford resident Penny Alexander for a book, published by Harper Collins, called Create Your Own Happy.
“The Children’s Society say UK happiness levels among kids are lower than ever,” Becky told the Local News.
“This book contains a host of ideas to help them learn to make their own happy happen.
“From feeding the birds to creating a laughter kit and giving out compliments, the book is all about teaching kids how to be happy in simple ways and to spread the happiness around.”
The authors are both award-winning parenting bloggers and a former social worker and teacher.
They say that the one thing they know every parent agrees on is they they want their kids to be happier and to have a positive attitude.
The book is available now from all good book stores and on Amazon at //amzn.to/2LMAgDj.
